Anyone know of a free video converter that I can use to transfer my videos onto an ipod? I use switch for an audio converter but I'd like something similar for videos. Thanks for your input.

Only thing I can think of is the youtube thing from:
http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/
That'll also convert the video for you into various formats such as mp3 if you just want audio. Not sure of the extent of your vision so... yeah.

For video conversion use Super copyright. Ok all you do gooders out there just because it sounds like it is a shareware app, it's not. It is free, though good luck trying to find a download for it. I am a friend of mine have copies of it so let me know if you would like to have a copy, unless google is nice to you and you can find it. Yes, it is accessible with jaws.
lol Thanks for replying. I was actually asking for my sister who is fully sighted. But I'd prefer something that works well with jaws only because she's not that great with computers herself so will probably ask me to show her how to use it. lol Thanks Squiggles. I will definitely look into Super coppyright.

Hi,
A good program's are from www.slysoft.net
They allow copyrighted DVD's onto your ipod.
One of them temporarily virtually removes the copy protections, the other converts it. If you want youtube videos to go on the ipod for free, go to www.vixy.net for a web-conversion then a download. Do NOT program a program called DVD2Pod. I wasted money, it doesn't work. DO NOT BUY IT!!
